We had lunch at The Landing, and it was delicious.  I had the catfish, hush puppies, mashed potatoes and green beans, but I wish I'd had time to sample more.

The service and hospitality were tops. Wanda and her team took great care of everyone.  I can't wait to go back.

We stopped here because we needed a lunch spot on the way to Rock Island State Park. We are from out of town and I relied mostly on the large amount of google reviews for this restaurant (come on Yelpers!).

The restaurant is attached to a gas station convenience store and the menu is very basic. There was a "lunch bar" available that was a cafeteria style selection of home cooked southern food. This is a one trip only type of bar with a meat selection and maybe 3 vegetables, not a buffet.

We ordered off the menu and our food was good. The server was extremely friendly and we enjoyed our visit. We had to wait a little longer than expected for our food, but it wasn't and unreasonable amount of time.

    Overall, a good experience.

Great little place for lunch. Had the fried chicken and ham with 2 sides all for under $6.00. Fantastic service. Very friendly people!

This restaurant is a hidden gem!  We had the best made from scratch biscuits and gravy and omelettes.  The ladies will bend over backwards to ensure you have what you need and your glass always stays filled.

The best food in middle Tennessee. Especially their lunch. From hamburgers to catfish it is all good. Plus the scenic drive caps it off.  So come visit Van Buren County and The Landing.
